The Department of African-American Studies (AAS) is pursuing a Lecturer to teach AAS courses starting Fall Semester 2018. In addition to instruction, service to the department is also expected for this position.
Applicants must have a PhD in the Humanities or Social and Behavioral Sciences with coursework or research in African-American Studies. Graduate training in Africana Studies is preferred, and a Ph.D. is required at the time of hire. Review of applications begins December 1, 2017 and the position will remain open until filled.
