This year, ASWAD had a lively and robust election with more candidates for the Executive Board than in any previous election in the organization’s history. I am deeply inspired by these positive signs of ASWAD’s growth and strength. I am equally enthusiastic about ASWAD’s future, and in that spirit, I am pleased to announce the following results in the 2019 election:

I am grateful to this new group of ASWAD representatives who will be giving generously of their time and energy to serve the organization. I would also like to thank all of you who nominated colleagues, participated in the voting process, and all of those who agreed to stand for election. As ASWAD is a collective of volunteers, I am always deeply appreciative of those who are willing to dedicate themselves to ASWAD’s success. We will keep growing stronger and better because of you.

Warmest wishes,

Leslie M. Alexander, Ph.D.
ASWAD President
